When feeding feels overwhelming, you don’t have to Find Your Way alone

Finding Your Way provides supportive, evidence-based lactation and breastfeeding support for parents who are feeling stuck, exhausted, or unsure of what to do next. Whether you’re preparing to breastfeed, navigating early challenges, or working through changes as your baby grows, support is available that respects your instincts and your goals.

Services

Prenatal Breastfeeding Education

Prenatal sessions offer space to prepare for breastfeeding before your baby arrives. These appointments focus on what to expect in the early days, how feeding works, and how to plan for common challenges, especially if you have specific concerns or previous feeding experiences. Sessions are designed to help you feel informed and supported before birth.

Breastfeeding Support - In Home

In-home breastfeeding support provides individualized, hands-on assessment in your own space. These visits focus on concerns such as latch and positioning, nipple and breast pain, milk supply questions, infant feeding behaviours, and pumping. In-home visits allow for observation and practical problem-solving within your daily environment, with support tailored to you and your baby.

Breastfeeding Support – Virtual

Virtual breastfeeding support offers flexible, accessible care and is appropriate for many feeding concerns. These appointments work well for follow-up visits, ongoing support, and situations where in-person care is not required. Virtual support is also a good option for families outside the in-home service area or those seeking earlier access to care. Sessions are guided by parent-led assessment, observation, education, and collaborative problem-solving.

About Finding Your Way

Finding Your Way was created to offer supportive, evidence-based lactation and breastfeeding care for parents navigating feeding challenges at any stage.

I am a Registered Practical Nurse, practicing since 2005, and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. I have experience supporting families across clinical and community settings, including prenatal education, breastfeeding support, and community-based nursing roles with pregnant and postpartum families.

My approach to supporting you with Finding Your Way through breastfeeding is by listening closely, observing what’s happening, and helping you make sense of feeding concerns without pressure or judgment.

My interest in lactation support is both professional and personal. I breastfed both of my children and experienced significant challenges along the way. Like many parents, I sought support and found it difficult to access timely, knowledgeable care. With guidance and persistence, I was able to continue breastfeeding and I learned firsthand how isolating and overwhelming feeding difficulties can feel when support is limited.

Those experiences shape how I work today. I believe parents already carry instincts about their babies. My role is not to tell you what to do, but to help you understand what’s happening, consider your options, and work through challenges in a way that aligns with your goals and values.

Support is available prenatally, in the early weeks, and as feeding evolves over time. Wherever you are in your feeding journey, you don’t have to figure it out on your own.
